Championnat de France Vol Circulaire 2010.
It was in Aix in Provence, at the stadium on the plateau de l’Arbois that the Championship of France 2010 for Control Line was held on the 21st and 22nd August, under a blazing sun, temperatures reaching 34° and a weak to moderate wind. All the conditions necessary for everyone to put in a good performance and with this the Cercle Modéliste Rullicois took its chances. 8 of the 11 local candidates selected by the FFAM had made the journey to take part in 3 of the 4 international categories and 2 of the 4 national categories.
In International Team Racing, the team of Thierry OUGEN/Roland SURUGUE gave a brave fight and in a superb finale gained the supreme title. In International Speed, Serge DELABARDE achieved 261.6 km/h, beating his personal record and was classified 6th. In International Acrobatics F2B his category of predilection, he gained the Championship of France for the 7th time and his fellow-member, Michel CAILLAUD obtained the 8th place.
In National Acrobatics, Steve MARSHALL, selected for the first time, was classified 12th and in National Team Racing (Good year) Bryce SURUGUE partnered with Clément BINDEL of the Cercle Modéliste de Blénod Lorraine was classified 4th. With two major titles in the Championship of France, the CMR confirms its great form and considers the future with serenity as it prepares for a selection round for the French National Team on the 11th September at the stadium on the Plaine de Chauday, at the start of the new season.
